Privacy and ethical growth policy
BillableKit is designed to grow through useful tools, search-friendly content, voluntary email capture, and user-shared referral links. It does not need spam, fake accounts, fake traffic, scraped emails, click fraud, or platform-term violations.
First-party analytics
The MVP records visits, calculator use, shares, checkout clicks, signups, and revenue events in a first-party event store. Do not sell this data. In production, replace the temporary store with a durable database and a privacy-conscious analytics workflow.
Email capture
Email forms explain the value being offered. Users should receive the worksheet, product updates, and an unsubscribe path before any sales sequence expands.
Referrals
Referral links are user-shared URLs, not automated messages. Reward real sharing with transparent benefits and never create fake engagement.
Billing data
The current MVP should not store sensitive real client billing details until production authentication, encryption, backups, retention rules, and a complete privacy policy are in place.
Monetization
Stripe checkout should charge for templates, workflows, or subscriptions that help freelancers bill and collect with less friction. Affiliate links, if added later, should be disclosed and limited to genuinely useful products.
